Worship and glorify!

Hope you're having a great week reading and obeying the Bible (core value #1 of Whitewater) and glorifying God in all you do, (core value #2). It's not about us, it's all about Him.

JT's message last weekend was a fantastic primer on one key aspect of glorifying God, which is through our praise and worship. We are wired to worship, friend!

Worship through giving

We also worship through giving. Since January is Sanctity of Human Life Month, it's a great time to focus on the life-saving ministry of one of Whitewater Life Center's key partners, Reach Out Pregnancy Center in Harrison.

Reach Out's mission is to help women and families facing unplanned and crisis pregnancies, as well as provide education and assistance to pregnant women and new parents. Last week, at the end of his message, JT encouraged us all to take a Change for Life baby bottle home and fill it with spare change, dollar bills, or checks for the next three weeks. If you didn't get one, it's not too late... grab one this Sunday. They can also be picked up from the church office Monday-Thursday, 9am to 5pm.

The baby bottles are due back by February 6. You can drop them off at the Info Desk in The Landing on Sunday. Click here for more information.

Worship through music

If you like to worship God through great music at a concert, a buddy of mine named Wayne Mayers is coordinating one next month over at the Ark Encounter with Peter Furler. Peter used to be with the News Boys and it should be a great evening. Here is some info if you'd like to attend.
