Public Indoor Gathering

Changes Being Made!

Due to the overwhelming response regarding our indoor service this coming Sunday, September 6, we are working on having additional services.  We anticipate the new times and registrations to be up tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1 at 7pm.  Please check back then to register.  Thank you.

We know. Rules & regulations aren’t always fun. Now we know how our kids feel :)

Thanks for your cooperation. So for the safety of everyone, here are some basic safety precautions that will be used for this event:

Registration is required weekly (register below)

Guest Service team members will walk you through the process and guidelines when you arrive. But we know some folks like to know the details. They are as follows:

Reserve a seat

Anyone wishing to attend a service will need to reserve their seat online or through the Whitewater App. Currently, the maximum capacity of the Worship Center is 300 people. Reservations will be capped at 290 people.

Worship Center seating

Guest Service team members will walk you through the process and guidelines when you enter the worship center. Leave three seats between each household and skip every other row.

Temperatures

If possible, we ask you to take your temperatures before leaving your home. If someone has a temperature of 100.4 or more, or are experiencing any symptoms, we expect them not to enter the building. Staff and volunteers will be required to take their temperature upon arrival.

Masks

The Ohio Department of Health requires that masks be worn while inside a building that is not a residence. Masks are primarily for the protection of those around you; this is an excellent way for us to care for our people. Please let us know if you need a mask.

Coffee and Water

At this time, Whitewater will not be opening The Landing Coffee Shop, have complimentary coffee, or have water fountains available to the public. We feel this is necessary in order to provide the safest environment possible for our people. We look forward to offering these items in the future, when they can be done safely.

Bulletins and Communion

Paper bulletins will not be handed out - yay for saving money and trees! Pre-packaged communion will be served by the Guest Services Team as people walk into the worship center.

Social Distancing

Social distancing is a total bummer, but it’s important! While meeting, it is expected that attendees, volunteers, and staff keep around 6 feet distance and refrain from physical contact with people outside of their household. This means no handshakes, hugs, high-fives, shared food, etc.

Cleaning and Hand Washing

We expect everyone to use a hand sanitizing station when entering and exiting the building. Surfaces and bathrooms will be cleaned before service.

Harbortown KIDS

Harbortown KIDS’ physical campus is closed. They look forward to being able to open this when it can be done safely. Watch Harbortown online!

Whitewater Youth

Youth is meeting in person outside on Sundays at 6pm. They look forward to being able to meet inside when it can be done safely. Follow along on youtube or instagram for youth church online @w.w.youth.

Parent Room

The Parent Room will be made available for nursing mothers only.

Volunteer Check-in

Volunteers will be asked to check-in at the top of the ramps by Doors 1 and 4 in order to sign-in, get a mask if needed, and have their temperature checked.

If you are not comfortable attending or the guidelines feel overwhelming, you may still watch online.
