BRIDGE: Young Adults

  • Day 1 of every months
  • 7:00 PM
So you're not a High Schooler anymore, you're young enough to know trendy things but old enough to be nostalgic about things that aren't "cool" these days. You're at the stage of life where the transition to adulthood is sometimes awesome, kind of hard, and most of the time just confusing. It's in this stage where we need God as our Life Coach, along with mentors to pray with, and friends to walk alongside. This group is for 18-25 year olds! We meet the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Friday of the month from 7p-9p!

How to Read and Study the Bible for Yourself (Online Group)

  • Weekly on Sundays
  • 6:30 PM
Nothing else fuels our growth like personally engaging with the Bible. Yet, many people lack the practical tools to confidently study the Bible for themselves. One can attend church for many years, and listen to a lot of teaching, and not learn how to read the Bible for yourself. We all need a lamp for dark times. Today, we have a culture with no lamp. Where do we turn when life turns dark? How do we know what next steps to take, or how to get direction in life? You will learn: · How to engage in your own personal devotions. · Get practical tools and easy to use methods on personal Bible Study. · Discover the golden rule of how to interpret the Bible. · Ignite a new passion for the Bible and its power to bring about change in your life. Get the skills you need (that absolutely anyone can use) to read and apply the Bible in your own life.

The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry (on campus)

  • Weekly on Tuesdays
  • 6:30 PM
We are all busy. Some of us can't remember the last time we rested or even had free time. Our busyness can feel productive, but it is a toxic distraction, sapping our spiritual, physical, and emotional vitality. It may seem like we have no choice but to live at a frantic pace, but God has a better path for us. This group will read the book "Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" by John Mark Comer and address one of the greatest threats to our spiritual lives: hurry. Instead of allowing our calendars and screens to control our lives, Jesus offers us a new rhythm of life, overflowing with grace, peace, and beauty. Books can be purchased on amazon or most bookstores. If buying a book is a barrier to joining this group, please contact Shannan Davis at SDavis@whitewatercrossing.org. Group starts on Sept 20 and runs for 8 weeks
