Houston Response

Many have asked how they can help and respond to the crisis in Houston. While there are many ways to assist, we recommend the below options to start with:

DISASTER RESPONSE TRAINING – Crossroads Westside and Hope Force International are hosting a disaster response training event on Sat. Sept. 16 from 8-5pm at the Westside campus. It is open to all churches and will help prepare people for future trips for Harvey relief.

WHITE OAK CHRISTIAN CHURCH is taking up the Challenge from Lifeline Christian Mission and partnering with the Clippard Y to pack food on September 21, 12pm-6pm. (http://www.thewocc.com/meals-for-texas/)

HOPE FORCE INTERNATIONAL – Hope Force International (hopeforce.org) who the Crossroads group, Masters of Disaster, is partnering with for a trip this week. Crossroads has already donated $50,000 toward this organization for Harvey relief.

IDES – International Disaster Emergency Services partners with local churches in the areas affected by disaster and support them with volunteers and financial support. (ides.org)

NEW HOPE CHUCH – They are a trusted church in the affected area and are donating 100% of proceeds received. (newhopechurch.tv)

GIFT CARDS – You may also drop off gift cards for things like gas cards, hardware stores, Walmart and other chains, here at the church office if you want to do something more tangible. We will collect them and make sure they get into the hands of the Masters of Disaster group for their next trip down to Texas.
