The Whitewater Life Center is where life transformation happens, because we encourage and empower people to grow and thrive in a Christ-centered life.

We do this by meeting folks' basic needs such as food and clothing, education, and employment skills, equipping people for hope and helping them to build a better future.

If you need assistance, please call or stop by the Life Center during its hours of operation. Appointments must be made to receive food assistance. If you are outside our service area, call United Way at 211 to be connected to a pantry in your neighborhood.

If you want to donate to the Food Pantry, please contact the Life Center its during hours of operation.

Several times a year the Life Center hosts clothing drives/giveaways. We also hold an event called Shoes for Souls each year at the end of summer to provide shoes for school children in need in our area. For more information on these events, contact the Life Center or check the church calendar.
Though a partnership with the Wheels Ministry, used cars are donated then fixed up to give to those who need transportation. Email wheels@whitewatercrossing.org or click to find out more.
The Life Center can help secure basic items such as a bed, blankets etc. While we cannot guarantee we have exactly what is needed, we'll do our very best to help you or connect you with other partners in the community that can assist.
Whitewater Crossing's Resource Fund ministers to individuals or families during a time of hardship or crisis by temporarily assisting them with basic needs. It's intended as a last resort, after all other sources of assistance have been explored (i.e. family, savings, investments etc.).

People inquiring about financial assistance must come to the Life Center to meet one-on-one with an Intake and Assessment Counselor and complete an application. Additional documents may be required for the application to be considered (i.e. bill statements, eviction notice etc). Please call the Life Center for an appointment.

While these disbursements are often made to cover emergencies, it may take up to 7 days to process the request, so the application should be made as soon as the potential issue is identified. Assistance is provided in the following priority order:

  1. Members and regular attendees of Whitewater Crossing Christian Church
  2. Referrals by members
  3. Members of the community that have a connection to Whitewater Crossing Christian Church
  4. Others in our immediate community: (Ohio) Miamitown, Frogtown, Hooven, North Bend, Cleves, Harrison, Addyston, Sayler Park, New Baltimore, and E-Town and (Indiana) Bright, Hidden Valley, West Harrison, Lawrenceburg, and Guilford.

Throughout the year, the Life Center offers classes that cover resume writing, as well as job seeking and interview skills. Check the church calendar for upcoming classes.

One-on-one career coaching and laptop/internet use is available to search for and apply for jobs.
